1:24. ਫੇਰ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਭਲਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਅਦੋਨੀਯਾਹ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਗੱਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇਗਾ?

1:24. Nathan said, "My master, O king, did you announce, 'Adonijah will be king after me; he will sit on my throne'?

1:24. Nathan asked, "My lord the king, have you decided that Adonijah will be the next king and that he will sit on your throne?

1:24. and said, "My lord and king, did you announce that Adonijah will be the new king after you? Have you decided that he will rule the people now?
